Mitsubishi owners meeting

Hey.

Some of us in Estonia are planing to visit countries next to us. Like Latvia and Lithuania.
We have heard that every year have been some kind of Japanese Car owner`s meeting- like Japmeet or something.

Do You guys know, when and where are those meeting? Very interested in track days and beauty contests.
Also we are interested in meetings with any other Mitsubishi`s car club, like Mitsubishi Club Latvia.

Japmeet usually is in July at 333 track near Riga. News and location you will find in http://www.japmeet.lv/
For 2013 meet there is no information jet.

From Tallinn to Riga have only ~300km which isn't much.
Personally, this distance is not a problem to me, even when driving with GSX Eclipse

Also it is superb to hear that You are interested in goming to Estonia.
If it's possible, then maybe we can arrange some kind of Summertime meetings.

First meeting could be in Riga.
Second could be in Pärnu (our summer capital-lots of beautyful women, parties etc). From Riga to Pärnu ~200km.

If meeting is in Pärnu, then we can arrange some camping place or private place to camp at club members home.
Or are you more interested sleeping in hostels?

If you believe more meeting in Latvia, then camping for us is totaly acceptable. Because we love barbeque, swim, and just chill around.
Also we know that next to Riga have some kind of race track. Is it possible to have fun at there?? Is it expensive ?

Last three years at summertime I visited Lithuania.
Estonia is the goal for my car this year !
I'm totally in for an event in summer !
If only it does not fall in the same date with Japmeet 2013 in LV, which we don't know yet.

What if the first meeting is at Japmeet? No mather when it take place.
And second meeting could be in August and in Estonia???
Or are You more interested keeping Japmeet and Mitsubishi owners meeting separate?

Then 2 meetings aren't in same month, maybe it's a problem for some people.
We are going to barbeque every weekend no mather what, so why not to do it in Latvia

I will agree with the first meeting at Japmeet. That would be the best place to meet each other and make some friendship. Than second meet really could be in Pärnu with some barbeques sometimes next month after Japmeet. Of coure no matter what, even if someone of your team want to visit Riga till Japmeet, you can easily contact us and we can make mini meet any time

Since non of us have been in Japmeet, I need to ask, how is everything organized there? Does every carclub have their own place (for tents, cars, stuff etc).
I looked Japmeet's 333 Riga previous videos in youtube, so if everything is like it appear from videos, then I have a premonition.

Usually as arrive, everybody is shown approximately where to park their vehicle according to brand or club.

We ourselves don't organize Japmeet, that is done by other people.

Probably you misunderstand the event on FB.

The date is not assured-which mean, to make any event at all, I needed to add some date. This date is probably not the real date.
The date will be sure, when Japmeet announce it.

Yes-JAPmeet is organized by other people. But first Mitsubishi Owners Meeting should and would take place at Japmeet.
It could be the best place to meet at first time, considering the fact that Estonian have not been on any foreign meeting.

Mitsubishi Owners Meeting is organized by Galant-Eclipse Club (GEC), and we sincerely hope that Mitsubishi Club Latvia and DSMclub.lv are helping us in it.

New Japmeet`s day is on 6-th July.

We are trying to pre-meet with DSMclub guys on/around the road and then go all together to Japmeet. So I hope you guys are also there.
